Our seasonal pop up cafe at R Bar is located at 1114 Main St. Asbury Park, NJ 07712. We are open for service Wed-Sun 8am to 3pm serving espresso based coffee drinks inspired by the art of food, cocktails, and playful nostalgia.

I’m Ashley Burk. I lived in the Asbury Park area for 7 years before moving to Philadelphia. I moved back to New Jersey in 2020 to open this cafe! I’ve worked in the coffee industry for 10+ years and have been a part of the creative community through my fiber art and hand painted sign business, Steady Hand Creative since 2015. I went to the Culinary Institute of America with an Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts and a Bachelors in Hospitality Management. This cafe is my greatest dream come true…a marriage of my two passions: coffee and playful creative exploration!
